How Next Generation Schools Define Success
Download ResourceTopics
Today’s learners face an uncertain present and a rapidly changing future that demand far different skills and knowledge than were needed in the 20th century. We also know so much more about enabling deep, powerful learning than we ever did before. Our collective future depends on how well young people prepare for the challenges and opportunities of 21st-century life.
Next Generation Learning Challenges asked 33 next generation educators how they define success for their students and schools, how they measure that success, and how they share their progress toward success with students, families, and others. This report summarizes what leading educators in public school redesign say today’s kids need to know and be able to do, and how they know whether their students are learning it.
